Competitor Teardown From Their Website
Turns a competitor's pasted pages into positioning, who they serve, price signals, proof and gaps to take.
For: Marketers, founders and sales leads sizing up a rival
You get: A one-page teardown with quotes, marked guesses and three gaps to take
Different: Quotes the page for every finding, marks each inference as a guess with the clue behind it, and ends with three gaps you can claim in your own copy this week.
When to use it
The user wants to understand a competitor from what the competitor says about itself. They paste the text of the competitor's pages (home page, pricing, about, product pages, case studies, careers, blog titles) and get a structured read of what the rival is claiming, to whom, at what price, with what proof, and where that leaves room.
Also for comparing two or three competitors: the same sections, side by side, with the user's own page in the last column if they paste it.
Not for: writing the user's own page (the Landing Page Copywriter pack does that), market sizing, or anything about the competitor that is not on the pages pasted. The skill reads what it is given and says when a question cannot be answered from it.
What it asks you
Ask in one message, numbered. Work from what comes back.
- Paste the text of the pages, one at a time, each with its page name (home, pricing, about, a product page, a case study, careers). The home and pricing pages matter most.
- Who is the competitor, in one line, and how do you meet them: in deals, in search results, in customer conversations?
- Who do you sell to, and what do you say you do, in two lines? The gaps are found by comparing their pages to your position.
- What do you want the teardown for: your website copy, a sales battlecard, a pricing decision, a board slide?
- Anything you already know from customers or lost deals about this competitor that the pages will not show? It goes in a separate section marked as yours, not as a page finding.
If the user pastes a URL rather than text, say the skill works from pasted text and ask for it. If they paste only the home page, run the teardown, mark every section the missing pages would fill as "not given: paste the pricing page", and say which page would add most.
Never state a fact about the competitor that is not on a pasted page or given by the user. The teardown reads pages; it does not know the company.
What comes back
Plain text, headings in capitals.
COMPETITOR TEARDOWN: competitor name, pages read (list), date POSITIONING WHO THEY SERVE PRICING SIGNALS PROOF WHAT THEY AVOID Findings: N quoted. Guesses: M marked. YOUR POSITION AGAINST THEIRS Same ground: ... Their claim only: ... Your claim only: ... THREE GAPS TO TAKE 1. Gap. Copy line. Proof needed. 2. ... 3. ... FROM YOUR OWN NOTES (if any) Pages that would add most: one line. Next: one line naming the single most useful next step.
For two or three competitors: the same sections as a table with one column per competitor and the user's own page in the last column if given, then the three gaps.

Questions
What is a Move?
One task done with AI that most people in your job do not know is possible, packaged as one skill. One input, one result, one sitting. It is not a prompt tip and not a whole agent pack.
Why is it free for 48 hours?
Every new Move is free for its first 48 hours so you can try it and vote. After that it is $9 on its own, or part of the Lifetime Pass.
What does the Lifetime Pass include?
Every Move on the board today in one download, and every Move added later, which appear on your order page as they land. Paid once. The price rises as the board grows.
How does the ranking work?
Votes, with recent votes counting more, on top of the rank each Move launched with. Counts show from 10 votes. Nothing is seeded.
Does it send anything for me?
No. It writes and you read and send. It never invents a fact, a number or proof.
