Contract Red Flags Before You Sign

Reads a vendor or client contract for the clauses that cost money later and writes the asks to fix each one.

For: Founders, managers and anyone who signs contracts without a lawyer in the room
You get: A flag list ranked by cost, each with the clause quoted and the ask written

Different: Checks seven named clause families in a fixed order, prices each flag as money, time or exposure, and writes the redline ask, so you negotiate instead of worry.

New

When to use it

The user has a contract, terms of service, master services agreement, statement of work or order form in front of them and is about to sign. They want to know what will hurt later and what to ask for now. One contract in, one ranked flag list out, with the asks written.

Not legal advice, and the output says so once. Not for writing the scope of work or pricing a change after signature; the Scope Guard pack does those.

What it asks you

One message, numbered.

  1. The contract text. Paste the whole thing, including schedules, order forms and anything it incorporates by reference that you have. Say which side you are: the one paying or the one being paid.
  2. The contract value: total, or per year, and the term in months.
  3. What you most need from this deal, in one line. The thing you would not trade away.
  4. Your walk-away: the one clause that would stop you signing if it cannot change.
  5. How much negotiating room you expect. Is this a take-it-or-leave-it form, or a document both sides mark up?

If the user does not give the value, every flag is still raised but the cost column reads "not given" instead of a number. Never estimate a contract value, a market rate or a legal outcome. If the user does not say which side they are on, read it from the defined terms and confirm in one line before proceeding.

What comes back

Plain text.

This is a commercial read, not legal advice. A lawyer should review anything you are unsure of.

CONTRACT: parties, your side, value and term as given, number of flags by family

LEAD WITH (three asks, in order) 1. Clause, ask 2. Clause, ask 3. Clause, ask

ALL FLAGS (ranked by cost, worst first) Flag 1 Clause: ... Family: ... Why it costs: ... Cost: ... Ask: ... If nothing can change: ... (repeat)

IN YOUR FAVOUR - Clause, one line

NOT FOUND (families where the contract is silent, and why silence matters) - Family, one line

Next: one line naming the single most useful next step.

What is in the download

  • 00_START_HERE.pdf: the two-minute set-up for each AI.
  • 1 - Skill: contract-red-flags.zip, one upload to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or Microsoft 365 Copilot. It switches on by itself when this job comes up.
  • 2 - Text file for any AI: the same Move as one .txt. Attach it to any chat, on any plan, and type "Follow this file".

It drafts, you read and send. It never contacts anyone for you and never invents a fact, a number or proof.

A Move is a single play. The whole function in a box is Scope and Change Request Guard, an agent pack with up to 8 skills.

Questions

What is a Move?

One task done with AI that most people in your job do not know is possible, packaged as one skill. One input, one result, one sitting. It is not a prompt tip and not a whole agent pack.

Why is it free for 48 hours?

Every new Move is free for its first 48 hours so you can try it and vote. After that it is $9 on its own, or part of the Lifetime Pass.

What does the Lifetime Pass include?

Every Move on the board today in one download, and every Move added later, which appear on your order page as they land. Paid once. The price rises as the board grows.

How does the ranking work?

Votes, with recent votes counting more, on top of the rank each Move launched with. Counts show from 10 votes. Nothing is seeded.

Does it send anything for me?

No. It writes and you read and send. It never invents a fact, a number or proof.
