Data Breach Compensation Claim (EU and UK)

Problem Pack for online and accounts

Data Breach Compensation Claim (EU and UK)

Claim compensation after a company breach exposed your data. It gets the full facts, writes the GDPR or UK GDPR claim and the complaint if they refuse.

Your data was in a company's breach and all you got was a short email. This pack turns your AI into a breach claims helper. It covers what Get Your Data From Any Company does not: the full facts about the breach, a compensation claim under GDPR Article 82, and the reply when they say "we were hacked, it's not our fault".

What it asks you

  • Which company, and how you found out
  • What data was exposed, and what has happened since
  • What it has cost you, in money, time and worry
  • What you want: answers, a copy of your data, protection, compensation

What you get

  • Four messages: the first request, the chase, the formal complaint, the data protection authority
  • The evidence list and a dated damage diary
  • The deadlines, each with its official source
  • What their reply means and what to send next

Who it is not for

  • People outside the EU and the UK, where the GDPR does not apply
  • Ongoing fraud on your account: call your bank first

Works in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and Copilot. $12, one payment. 14 days to get your money back. Local price on request.

The pack drafts the messages. You send them. Not legal advice.

The situation

Your online pharmacy emails to say hackers accessed customer names, addresses, emails and order histories. Since then you have had four phishing texts and a fake delivery call, and you spent an evening changing passwords.

It asks you, for example

  1. Which company it was, and how you found out
  2. Which of your data was exposed
  3. What has happened since, and what it has cost you
  4. What you want: answers, a copy of your data, compensation
The first message it writes

Subject: Personal data breach notice of 14 October: request for information and compensation

Your notice of 14 October says my personal data was affected by a breach. Under Articles 15 and 34 of the UK GDPR, please tell me exactly which of my data was affected, when you became aware of the breach, what you have done to contain it and when you reported it to the data protection authority, and send me a copy of the data you hold about me.

Since the breach I have received four phishing texts and a fake delivery call, and spent about four hours securing my accounts. Under Article 82 of the UK GDPR I claim compensation of £250 for the distress and time this has caused.

Please reply within one month, by 14 November, as Article 12(3) requires.

[Your name], customer number [number]

If they reply that they were the victim of a criminal attack, it writes the answer: under Article 82(3) they must prove they were not in any way responsible.

Questions

Who is this for?

Anyone in the EU or the UK whose personal data was exposed in a company's data breach: a hack, a leak, a lost device or an email sent to the wrong people.

Do I get compensation just because there was a breach?

Not automatically. You need to show damage, which can be money lost or non-material harm such as fear of misuse, and the pack helps you describe it with evidence.

How is this different from Get Your Data From Any Company?

That pack writes access, correction and deletion requests. This one is built for a breach: it asks what happened, claims compensation under Article 82 and handles the company's usual answers.

Does it send anything for me?

No. It writes the messages and the evidence list. You read them and send them yourself.

Is it legal advice?

No. It follows the GDPR and the official complaint routes, and tells you when to see a lawyer or a consumer organisation.
