Quote and Pricing Builder cover

AI agent pack for finance

Quote and Pricing Builder

Prices jobs from your own costs: cost-plus quotes, day rates, tiers, packages, margin checks, discount limits and the quote email.

See it in action

An example. The situation is made up to show how the pack works.

The situation

You are a landscaper pricing a 20 m² patio: two people for three 8-hour days, at a cost of £28 an hour each, plus £960 of slabs and sand and a £260 skip. You want a 30% margin.

It asks you, for example

  1. What you sell, who buys it, and where
  2. Your usual jobs: hours, people and materials
  3. What your time and materials cost you
  4. Your target margin and your lowest margin
The price it works out

Charge £3,675 before VAT.

Slabs and sand1£960£960£1,380£1,380
Skip hire1£260£260£375£375

Working: 28 / 0.70 = 40 exactly. 960 / 0.70 = 1,371.43, up to £1,380. 260 / 0.70 = 371.43, up to £375.
Totals: cost £2,564. Price £3,675. Profit £1,111. Margin 30.2%. Markup 43.3%. On target.
Adding 30% to cost would give £3,333.20, a 23.1% margin.

Next it writes the client quote with payment stages, a check block for you, and the email to send it with.

An AI pricing assistant in 6 skills, one per job, for the AI you already use. It turns your own costs into quotes at the margin you chose.

Give it your costs, your target margin and the job, and get a client quote with every price worked from those costs, plus a cost sheet for you showing profit, margin and markup. It also sets day rates, builds packages, checks your price list and answers discount requests.

What you are buying

It is
  • 6 skills, one per job, each one checking its own work before you see it
  • Fixed maths: margin is profit over price, markup is profit over cost, and every quote shows both.
  • A fixed rounding table, so every price rounds up and your margin never drops below target.
  • When a skill needs your details, it asks a few short questions about what you sell, your jobs, costs, prices, margin, terms and sign-off, then gives you a Pricing Card. Paste it into a new chat and it asks only for what is new.
It is not
  • An app, a login or a subscription. You pay once.
  • A cost guesser. It never estimates hours, materials or overheads; if a figure is missing, it asks.
  • Tax or accounting advice. It uses the tax wording you give it and tells you to check with your accountant.
  • A way to pressure clients. No fake "was" prices, invented deadlines or price rises you have not confirmed.

Your AI today, and with this

Your AI today

A full rewire and EV charger usually costs £6,000 to £9,000 depending on the property. For a 35% margin, add 35% to your costs: £4,653 x 1.35 = £6,281.55. You could also offer 10% off to win the job.

An invented price range, a 35% markup sold as a 35% margin (it is 25.9%), and a discount past your own limit.

With Quote and Pricing Builder

Every cost from the electrician's own card, each price rounded up so the margin lands above target, and the costs kept for her eyes only (the cost sheet is left out here). An invented example from the pack.

The skills inside

6 skills, one per job. A skill is a short instruction file you add to your AI once. It switches on only when you ask for its job, asks a few questions, and checks its work before you see it.

The Different line says what each skill does that a plain AI chat does not.

Job QuotePrices one job from your costs at your margin and writes the client quote, with a cost sheet only you see.Different: Builds a cost sheet from your own costs only, rounds each unit price up on a fixed table so margin never falls under target, and re-adds every total and stage.
Day and Hourly RatesWorks out your day, half-day and hourly rates from your pay, overheads and billable days.Different: Works the day, half-day and hourly rates each from its own cost, rounds each up on its own, flags over 220 billable days a year and shows the yearly profit.
Margin CheckChecks prices you already charge: margin, markup, status and the price at target for every row.Different: Shows margin and markup side by side for every row, judges each against your target and floor on the unrounded figure, and never estimates a missing cost.
Discount ReplyWorks out what you can give when a client wants money off, and drafts the 30 to 80 word reply.Different: Works the most you can give (the lower of your discount limit and your floor), offers scope out before money off, and states what a discount costs you in money.
Tiers and PackagesBuilds three-tier options, fixed packages and monthly retainers, each priced from its own costs.Different: Prices each tier from its own cost sheet, keeps every tier 15% to 60% above the one below it, and checks price against client value only when you give a figure.
Quote Email and Follow-upsWrites the email that sends your quote, up to two follow-ups and a one-line close when a client says no.Different: Counts every email (quote email 60 to 150 words, follow-ups 30 to 80), stops at two follow-ups 5 working days apart, and closes a no in one line.

How you use it

  1. Upload each skill once from the 1 - Skills folder to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or Microsoft 365 Copilot. Each one switches on by itself when its job comes up.
  2. No skills on your plan, or another AI? Attach the all-in-one file to a chat, or add the skill files to a project or custom GPT.
  3. Ask for the work in plain words. The skill asks a few short questions first, then does the job.

See the set-up steps for each AI before you buy.

What arrives

A zip file, straight after you pay. Inside:

  • A start-here PDF with the clicks for each AI.
  • 6 skills, one per job, ready to upload to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or Microsoft 365 Copilot.
  • The same skills as text files for ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Copilot or any other AI, and one all-in-one file.

Good to know

  • It never guesses a cost. If a job needs a figure it does not have, it asks before it prices.
  • Every quote comes with a check block for your eyes only: the cost sheet, the sums re-added, and profit, margin and markup against your target and floor.
  • It writes the tax wording you give it and never states a tax rate you have not confirmed. Check tax rules with your accountant.
  • Need the full proposal around the price? Proposal Writer turns call notes into a priced proposal from your rate card.
  • 14 days to get your money back if it does not do what this page says.

Questions

Which AI does it work with?

Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and Microsoft 365 Copilot all take the skills as uploads. Where your plan has no skills, or on any other AI, use the same skills as text files, in a chat or a project.

How do I set it up?

Upload each skill once in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or Microsoft 365 Copilot. It then switches on by itself when its job comes up. Otherwise, attach the all-in-one file to a chat, or add the skill files to a project or custom GPT. The start-here PDF has the clicks.

Why separate skills instead of one big agent?

Each skill does one job and holds only the rules, numbers and checks for that job, so it stays focused and the AI does not mix jobs up. You can upload just the ones you need.

Can my team use it?

Yes, inside one company. Each person sets it up in their own AI. You cannot resell or publish the files.

Does it send anything for me?

No. It drafts, you read and send. It never contacts anyone.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once and the files are yours to keep and change.

What if it does not work for me?

You have 14 days to get your money back if it does not do what this page says. Tell us what you asked it and what it returned.
