The situation
A hotel in the US cancelled your booking and promised by email on September 2 to refund $380 to your credit card. Six weeks later the money has not arrived, and the hotel no longer replies.
It asks you, for example
- Which country you and your card are in
- What the payment was for, amount and date
- How you paid
- What went wrong, and what the merchant said
