Moving Company Damaged Your Stuff cover

Problem Pack for home and renting

Moving Company Damaged Your Stuff

Claim from movers who damaged, lost or held your things. It checks your deadline and cover, lists each item and answers low offers.

Works for: US, UK, EU, Canada and Australia

See it in action

An example. The situation is made up to show how the pack works.

The situation

Your removal firm packed and moved you from Bristol to Bath on 12 September. A mirror arrived shattered and a sideboard gouged. You claimed £860, and they offered £150 as full and final settlement.

It asks you, for example

  1. Which country you are in, and where you moved
  2. What went wrong: damage, loss, delay or held goods
  3. When your goods were delivered
  4. What cover you chose or signed for
The reply to their offer it drafts

Subject: Response to your offer: claim 5512

Dear Claims Team,

Thank you for your offer of £150 as full and final settlement. I am not able to accept it.

Your team packed both items, and both were noted on the delivery sheet on 12 September:
1. Item 8, wall mirror, 120 x 80 cm, glass shattered in its crate. Replacement: £340.
2. Item 15, oak sideboard, deep gouge across the top. Repair quote: £520.

Total: £860. Photos, the replacement listing and the repair quote are attached.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the move should have been carried out with reasonable care and skill. Please confirm payment of £860 by 13 November 2026.

Kind regards,
[Your name]

If they hold firm, it checks for a trade association dispute scheme, then a card claim, then small claims.

A skill for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or Copilot, or a text file for any AI chat, that turns your AI into a helper for claiming against a moving company that damaged, lost or held your things.

It finds your claim deadline and the cover you actually have, builds an item-by-item claim list, writes the claim and your replies to low offers, and tells you what to do if the mover will not deliver.

What you are buying

It is
  • A claim deadline check and an item-by-item claim list
  • Plain help on basic cover by weight versus full value cover
  • Steps for a mover holding your goods for more money
  • Replies to low offers and denials, item by item
It is not
  • Legal or insurance advice. For large losses or court papers, talk to a lawyer, your insurer or a consumer adviser.
  • A way to claim more than your things were worth. It keeps every claim honest.
  • A replacement for your own home insurance, which may pay what the mover will not.
  • An app, a login or a subscription. You pay once.

The message most people send, and the one this pack writes

The usual first message

Subject: Damaged items Hi, Your team broke some of my things during the move last week, including the TV and the dining table. This is really poor service. Please let me know what you are going to do about it. Thanks

No job number, no item numbers, no values and no date, so it is easy to offer very little or nothing.

With this Problem Pack

Subject: Claim: job BL-55813, move on 24 to 28 April Dear Claims Team, I am claiming for damage to goods delivered on 28 April under bill of lading BL-55813, with full value protection and a $500 deductible. It lists each item by inventory number with a value, the cover and one figure, with a date. An invented example from the pack.

What arrives

A zip file, straight after you pay. Inside: the pack as a ready-to-upload skill with its SKILL.md, the same pack as one text file for any AI, and a start-here PDF with both set-ups.

Good to know

  • For US moves between states, you have 9 months from delivery to send a written claim.
  • Basic cover on US moves between states pays only 60 cents per pound per item, and the mover can only hold you to it if you chose it in writing. Otherwise full value protection applies.
  • Keep damaged items until the claim is settled. The mover may want to inspect them.
  • Write down damage on the delivery papers before you sign if you can, but damage found later can still be claimed.
  • It writes, you send. Nothing goes out for you.
  • Or get Every Problem Pack: all of them for $99.
  • 14 days to get your money back if it does not do what this page says.

Questions

Which AI does it work with?

Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and Microsoft 365 Copilot take it as a skill: upload it once and it switches on by itself. On any AI and any plan, attach the text file to a new chat and type "Follow this file", or add it to a project.

How do I get it?

Pay once by card. The download button appears straight after payment and your receipt comes by email. No account, no subscription.

Can I keep it ready for next time?

Yes. Upload the skill once to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or Microsoft 365 Copilot, or add the text file to a ChatGPT Project or custom GPT, a Claude Project, a Grok project or a Copilot agent. The start-here guide shows each.

Does it send anything for me?

No. It writes each message and you read it and send it yourself.

Is this legal advice?

No. It helps you put your case clearly and keep it moving. For large sums, a court date or anything you are unsure about, speak to a lawyer or a free advice service where you live.

What if it does not work for me?

You have 14 days to get your money back if it does not do what this page says. Tell us what you asked it and what it returned.
