Problem Pack for shopping

Charged for Extras You Never Chose

Paid for a pre-ticked add-on, insurance added by default or a fee that only showed at the end? Get it refunded to your card.

Works for: EU, UK, US and Brazil

See it in action

An example. The situation is made up to show how the pack works.

The situation

You order a £479.00 fridge freezer online and pay £517.98. The confirmation shows old appliance removal for £25.00 and a priority delivery slot for £13.98. Both boxes were already ticked at the checkout, you had no old appliance, and it came with the standard delivery.

It asks you, for example

  1. Where you live, and where the seller is
  2. What you bought, from whom, and when
  3. Each extra and what it cost
  4. How it was added, and how you paid
The first message it writes

Subject: Order [order number]: refund of extras I did not choose

On 30 October 2026 I ordered a fridge freezer from your website, order [order number], priced at £479.00. I was charged £517.98. The difference is two extras I did not choose: old appliance removal, £25.00, and a priority delivery slot, £13.98.

Both boxes were already ticked at the checkout. I did not give my express consent to either payment. Under regulation 40 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, I am entitled to have them reimbursed.

Please refund £38.98 to the debit card I paid with by 20 November 2026.

[Your name]

If the seller says you could have unticked the box or offers a voucher, it writes the reply asking again for the refund in money, and if nothing comes by the date, it writes the chargeback request for your bank.

A skill for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or Copilot, or a text file for any AI chat, that turns your AI into a helper for getting back money you paid for extras you never chose.

It lists every add-on and fee on your order, tells you whether the law is on your side where you live, writes the refund request with the right rule and a real date, and answers when the seller says "you could have unticked the box".

What you are buying

It is
  • A line-by-line check of your order for extras and fees you did not choose
  • A refund request naming the express consent rule that fits your country, with the deadline as a date
  • Answers to the usual replies: our terms, you could have unticked it, a voucher, the service was done
  • Works in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or Copilot
It is not
  • Legal advice. For a large amount or a court claim, talk to an adviser.
  • A promise of a refund. An extra you ticked yourself with the price shown is a weak case, and it tells you so.
  • A claims company. You ask yourself and keep it all.
  • An app, a login or a subscription. You pay once.

The message most people send, and the one this pack writes

The usual first message

Subject: My order Hi, I've been charged more than I expected for my fridge freezer. There are some extras on there I didn't want. Can you take them off and refund me please? Thanks

No order number, no amounts, no rule and no date, so it gets "you agreed at checkout" and nothing else.

What it does

Words you can type at any time. You do not need them to start.

Start it Asks five short questions: where you and the seller are, what you bought, which extras, how they were added and how you paid
Answer the questions Tells you how strong your case is, which rule fits and your deadline dates
next message Writes the refund request, then the reminder if the date passes
they replied: <paste> Explains what their answer means and writes your reply
my receipt Checks the order you paste line by line and lists every extra and fee to ask about
card dispute Writes the card claim: a US billing error letter, a UK Section 75 claim or a chargeback request

How you use it

  1. Open a new chat in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or Copilot. Free plans work.
  2. Attach the text file to a new chat in any AI and type "Follow this file". On a paid Claude plan, you can install it once as a skill instead.
  3. Answer its questions in your own words. It works through the problem with you from there.

What arrives

A zip file, straight after you pay. Inside: the pack as a ready-to-upload skill with its SKILL.md, the same pack as one text file for any AI, and a start-here PDF with both set-ups.

Good to know

  • EU and UK: a seller needs your express consent to any payment on top of the main price. If it used a pre-ticked box or another default you had to reject, you are entitled to that payment back.
  • Flights from EU and UK airports: optional extras such as seats, bags or travel insurance must be opt-in, and the final price must include every unavoidable fee.
  • US: a charge you did not accept on a credit card is a billing error. Write to the card issuer within 60 days of the first statement that shows it. The FTC requires the total price, fees included, for live-event tickets and hotel stays, and California requires it on most prices.
  • Brazil: a service supplied without your request counts as a free sample, with nothing to pay, and an undue charge you paid can be refunded double.
  • A wrong bill on energy, phone, broadband or a subscription? Wrong Bill or Surprise Charge is built for that.
  • It writes, you send. Nothing goes out for you.
  • Or get Every Problem Pack: all of them for $99.
  • 14 days to get your money back if it does not do what this page says.

Questions

Which AI does it work with?

Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and Microsoft 365 Copilot take it as a skill: upload it once and it switches on by itself. On any AI and any plan, attach the text file to a new chat and type "Follow this file", or add it to a project.

How do I get it?

Pay once by card. The download button appears straight after payment and your receipt comes by email. No account, no subscription.

Can I keep it ready for next time?

Yes. Upload the skill once to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or Microsoft 365 Copilot, or add the text file to a ChatGPT Project or custom GPT, a Claude Project, a Grok project or a Copilot agent. The start-here guide shows each.

Does it send anything for me?

No. It writes each message and you read it and send it yourself.

Is this legal advice?

No. It helps you put your case clearly and keep it moving. For large sums, a court date or anything you are unsure about, speak to a lawyer or a free advice service where you live.

What if it does not work for me?

You have 14 days to get your money back if it does not do what this page says. Tell us what you asked it and what it returned.
